Portland Pumpkin Farm & Bella Organic Farm got married.

Bella Organic Farm was founded Seven years ago by the Hashem family. Ever since then, the farm has been growing and developing into our vision for the future. As a result of our customers’ urging, we have constructed the first organic farm stand in our state to sell farm direct to our customers, and opened our berry fields for U-Pick. The vision was being developed hand-in-hand with our customers’ suggestions and requests.

In 2009, the Portland Pumpkin Farm met Bella and they fell in love. Our daughter, Sofia Hashem got married to Johnny Kondilis and they decided to operate the farm with our other children Samara and Alex. They sent their parents into early retirement and took over the farm operation. It is their vision to promote organic living and to provide a place for families and kids to come and enjoy wholesome, clean organic food, and still have fun at the same time. As a result, the Portland Pumpkin Farm was born.

The kids know the way of the future, what the new generation’s wants and needs are. They decided to offer a pumpkin harvest, and a corn maze for the kids to enjoy the farm experience, and learn to associate farming with healthy and fun as they grow up. To reward all of our customers who support us during the farming season, with a free pass to the maze. Our maze was designed for customers’ use only. The farm will transform in September and October to celebrate the Fall Harvest.
